3. 2018 BC Junior Open, Evergreen Squash Club, Vancouver

October 26th to 28th, 2018

General:

This is the BC Open for Juniors and is the only double ranking event of the year. All Provincial training squad, Regional Training squad members and Canada Winter Games players must play in this event. If you are under the age of 13 parents will have to help arrange a billet for their kids or travel to the tournament with their kids. Over the age of 13 kids can be chaperoned by Ben Uliana but will be responsible for a portion of their hotel costs.

Accommodations:

The proximity of the hotel and the squash club are easy walking distance from each other. This makes for a good squash weekend. The kids are able to go to and from the club and relax during the day when time permits. The cost works out to about $45.00 + tx for the night for a bed per night if you are staying in the hotel.

Others travel over with the team and choose to billet for the weekend. You will need to make your own arrangements if you would like to stay away from the hotel.

Register:

Please let me know if you are going to play and I can either do your registration for you if you find that easier

Travel:

We travel to the event on the 1:00pm ferry Friday to Vancouver (This ensures we miss the majority of traffic and make it the venue on time for the first matches). I can travel with up to 4 kids in my truck to the event.

Costs:

The Cost for this tournament usually run between $180.00 and $210.00 for the weekend. This includes travel and Coaching Expenses.
